Hello beautiful beings!
I realized one of the main reasons why I haven´t been writing for so long: I´m simply afraid of doing things wrong (nice rhyme, aye?). But how is that really possible? Isn´t every single thing, a part of the beautiful whole? Isn´t every single input worth something? Is there not truth in everything? And isn´t it quite undesirable to follow a mind-pattern created by fear?
Any way, I have come to the conclusion that I still want to share, to give, with the hope that someone out there is open and able to receive, to listen, to take in, and use whatever aspects of this writing that he or she feels is relevant to him or her.
Because isn´t that a big part of what we are here for, anyway? I once met a man from Congo in Christiania. He said two beautiful things that I still remember very clearly. 1. That what is important is not so much what we do, but rather how we do it. (With what state of mind, with what motivation) 2. Each of us are here to experience, to learn, so what is more precious than to share experiences? To learn from each other? To give and receive?
I have received – and keep receiving – so many beautiful messages in many forms. I am very happy to receive. Actually that´s what I – so far – seem (?) to do the most. To receive. But how could I receive if there hadn´t been all these wonderful beings there to give? And possibly even more importantly, how could these beings have given anything if I hadn´t been there receiving? This might seem simple, but I believe it is important and that it can be somewhat hard to implement.
Balance is the keyword that most people seem to agree on, about most things. Do you have a tendency to mainly be a giver, or mainly a receiver? It´s worth considering. In either case, you are indirectly expecting the universe to compensate for your imbalance. If you just keep giving, giving, giving, you are dependent on people receiving from you, and opposite. If we know what a wonderful gift it can be to give, then let us try not to deny other this gift. “Oh you shouldn´t, I really don´t need, thank you but no”. Instead, receive fully! Enjoy receiving and let the other enjoy giving. And accordingly the other way around: Maybe you are afraid what you can give is not good enough (I often feel like that). Or you just don´t really know how to give? Give whatever you can, it´s beautiful as it is, and you only learn more about giving from actually giving. Anyway, when the opportunity/moment is there, go for it, give. Say what you have to say, do what you think about doing, or at least suggest it. If someone is open to receive from you, you will experience the happiness of giving. Make sure what you give is being received, and what that you receive what is given.
One big truth in this world is the truth of duality. Yin and Yang, female and male, passive and active, receiving and giving. Balance seems to be wonderful answer. Maybe not necessarily as an estimated 50/50, but rather like a fluent, open, variable. In duality, one cannot exist without the other, they are interconnected, dynamic, creating a whole. As there is no light without darkness, there is no giving without receiving.
With this philosophical introduction, here you go, this is what I love to give: What I feel I have received, which is also what I want to give in these blogs, is simply self-help, self-development, expansion in Being. Good for yourself, good for others. Let me (repeat and) begin (and end) with what I consider to be a very all-inclusive “way” of handling yourself and life: Accept and Love:
With Love and Light,
Simon
Well said!!!
I cannot add or remove anything, just perfectly said!
